We must stand with our developers in times of need. For more than a year, our developers on the Westside have been working hard to make sure that their development plans remain free from any further zoning restrictions. They are fighting to block the Navy's return and preserve their land permits. It's time we rallied developers across Northeast Florida to stand with them for what's right...putting developers' interest above the national defense needs of our country. Some say that jets are the sound of freedom. The Best Western Project's website says, however, that it is "the voice of the American people that is the true sound of freedom." But if the Mayor is unsuccessful in blocking Jacksonville citizens right to exercise their vote, we must have a new sound of freedom and a new rallying cry...Bulldozers and Dump Trucks! That's the best and newest "true sound of freedom"...at least for this week. So join us in our fight...a fight for bulldozers and dump trucks.
